A plain Juicy Couture hoodie and jeans... pretty simple combo right? Let's have a look at how to spice it up with 5 different looks to help you make the most out of your wardrobe.

BASE OUTFIT

- Grey Juicy hoodie

- Black jeans (take any tight fitted hoodie and plain trousers)

- Cropped black vest (STYLING TIP: my top is actually a patterned vest turned back to front... give it a try to save money and get a new style!)

For this look I paired my hoodie and jeans with some timberlands, a cropped fur jacket, and a fluffy hat. Done up or undone this works really well because a cropped bomber or fur coat compliments the tight silhouette of the hoodie, and also plays into the nod to y2k from Juicy Couture. I personally love matching so I matched the hat and shoes as best I could to the coat, but any hat and shoes would go with this: trainers, a beanie etc. I tried adding a scarf but it took it to a slightly more mature and less playful look so kept it out, but of course it is baltic outside and practicality comes first so don a scarf if needed!

Here I've dressed the outfit up with a pair of pointed toe boots, a side bag and a leather jacket. In this outfit the mixture of black grey and brown is jarringly great to me, it's like silver and gold jewellery: you either love it or you don't. Leather jackets always suit tight hoodies regardless of the jacket's shape, which can be seen here. I really like this outfit, it would work for a night out, a day activity, a date, or even just uni ;) and again the boots could be swapped out for loafers or doc martens etc, and a hat or scarf could be added. For a scarf here I would recommend a patterned one if your shoes are fancy, or a wooly one if going for trainers.

Keeping the same shoes, I swapped the jackets out and added a scarf. This is still dressed up but perhaps more worky where the previous one was party. I love the contrast of serious and silly with the coat and the hoodie, plus the coloured scarf just makes it more interesting. Again the shape of the hoodie means that a wool overcoat or trench would work because they are tight so don't interfere with a silhouette much! In the first picture without the coat the scarf is doing bits to show that colour is important. Don't forget that! Accessorising is a great way to get colour into an outfit if you have a more white-grey-black wardrobe.

Okay same coat but different scarf and shoes and BOOM it's casual. Behold the air force. I feel like white air force are shunned from the fashion community but they are such an important shoe. So universal. Don't get rid of your old air force!

Here I've added a fake football scarf from Bene Culture and trainers to dress down the outfit. The coat with this very causal look is just easy and looks good. The same would go for any long coat.

Here I have accessorised with a leather fringed vest and a beanie. Not quite sure how this can be translated unless you have a leather vest (get one), but it goes to show how juicy hoodies are so versatile and you can be really creative with the same base and just some accessories.

Also... of course beanies. Warmth people!
